    Apparently Janice Raymond was motivated in her attacks on women born with transsexualism by an unrequited love for such a woman. One wonders whether Germaine Greer was equally motivated. Was her original "pantomime dame" a fellow Sydney Push member, an alumnus of Sydney University, who was notorious as a fetishist transvestite and who later underwent vaginoplasty, quite possibly as part of his lifelong feminization fetish? I am told that Germaine and her nemesis hate each other even now. Can at least some of the still-extent hatred of women of transsexual background, stemming from Greer, Raymond and their followers, be traced to personal love/hate relationships?

    BTW, although the individual I refer to in my first comment claims variously to be a transvestite, transgender AND transsexual - nothing if not all-inclusive - I am reliably informed he is quite happy to be referred to as a man. Presumably then he is male to male transsexual.
