The police are funded by legislature and work for the Department of Justice. The sworn duty of the police is to uphold the law. Murder is illegal. Therefore if anyone should be expected to uphold the law it should be the police. I suppose that if someone were to vandalize your car at night, or kill your loved ones you would simply shrug it off as "southern culture." I pity you troll.

--ChristineAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5573426.post-34007669660914406692008-11-13T09:46:00.000+11:002008-11-13T09:46:00.000+11:00"Second, you seem to be equating "contribute to so..."Second, you seem to be equating "contribute to society" with "work a regular day job"...which is hardly the only way one can contrbute. The "gay jokes" are utterly nonexistent.

I know it isn't like that everywhere, but I can tell the pockets of resistance are rather small; and that, unlike Florida, homophobia is not a core value in the culture.Lucrecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03301814553951212105noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5573426.post-5044101550767156852008-11-13T04:43:00.000+11:002008-11-13T04:43:00.000+11:00Anon, you're logic-challenged. When a community has distain for people that do not contribute to the accepted culture rejection is expected and enforced by the extremists. A person working a 9-5 job would not have been on the streets at that hour. True this is not the way to solve problems but it is also not the way to get acceptance.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
