Brazil has successfully launched its first rocket into space, 14 months after an accident at a similar takeoff killed more than 20 people. The accident, over a year ago, was a horrific one: a premature ignition while technicians were working on the booster.
The rocket was launched from the a site near the equator.
Brazil says it hopes the success of the mission will boost plans to build 15 rockets to sell rockets to the European space agency.
