ST05 : DFAT Issues Travel Warning for Indonesia



The Australian Department of Foreign Affair and Trade has issued a travel warning for Australians visiting Indonesia.
This warning extends to the Islands of Java, Sumatra, and Sulaweisi.

Civil disturbances may occur at short notice, targetting Australian Interests.

Australians are advised to return as soon as possible, and avoid leaving their hotels until just before departure. They should contact the Australian Embassy in the next 24 hours.
