The 'D' Word

I love you but I must Divorce you she said this morning, as we cuddled.

Well, the odds always were against us. It's really just a recognition that our relationship isn't a marriage any more. Isn't it?

So how come I'm crying?

Someone left the cake out in the rain, I guess.

Hey, Zoe. It's an unfair predicament for you and your wife to have been thrust into. I wish you the best.

Zoe, there's nothing to say that can possibly mitigate the hurt, but perhaps the sharing of the pain will help a little.

You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Sad, sad news, Zoe. It does seem inevitable, though, doesn't it? I am going through the same thing myself at the moment. Warmest wishes from someone who considers themselves still...
Your friend,

Nica :)

Ah Zoe, a big hug to you. You and Carmel have been through so much in the past 18 months, and it's not been by choice for either of you.

Remember that she still loves you, even though the nature of your relationship has changed profoundly.

You both deserve all our best wishes for the future.
