That low-definition picture is of the Phoenix Lander, descending on its parachute.It's the first time an extraterrestrial lander has been caught on camera by another spacecraft, in this case, the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment (HiRISE) on NASA's Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
